Modern Abstract Art Painting and Fine Art History: At a Glance

Many artworks had still survived the test of time, such artworks are those sculptures, paintings, cave drawings and wood carvings. Those works are proofs that art had been present in the ancient times at about 10,000 to 1,000 B.C. At those early times, art would simply relate to those works by man on a medium such as rocks, leafs and woods which creates a new form that resembles humans or other life-forms that early men encounter daily in their lives. Art in those times is what it is because at the early times men only had limited knowledge on their environment. Thus, they also will have limited knowledge of art and what is aesthetic.
Art is not what it is used to. Nowadays, it does not only revolve on simple reality. It has evolved like men. It is at this time still changing and adapting to the current and shifting times. It has become from a primitive outlook to a more sophisticated and systematic way of approach to how it is created. Still, the works from the Renaissance time are still appreciated but the new artistic designs such as Byzantine, Gothic, Rococo, and Baroque made the era of modern art as artistic as those of the past.
Mid 19th century to the Early 20th century
At those times, many ways of creating art had emerged. Concepts like Cubism, Impressionism, Dadaism, Surrealism and the ever popular Expressionism. It is the way on how art had coped up with man and it also evolved through time.  At those times, artists were renowned and greatly appreciated with their works. Works of Pablo Picasso were great examples of it how art was appreciated at those times and he is known as one of the founders of the cubist movement.
The Last Part of the 20th Century
Relativism was recognized at these times. In the latter part of the 20th century, this form of art had focused on the viewpoint that there is only relative value and no absolute truth which is skewed to the difference in perception. This form of art started the era of Contemporary Arts.  As the art evolved, it is at a later time called as Fine art.

A fine art was mainly concerned with aesthetic, with beauty. It was then categorized to five great areas – sculptures, paintings, architecture, music and poetry. Nowadays, fine art is categorized into two, visual art and performing arts. Visual arts may refer to printing, designs, crafting and ceramics. Performing arts include the kinesthetic movements and also voice and arts that may produced with the accompaniment of music. These forms of art also changes as time goes on. Technology also plays a big role to the advancement of such art.
Today, many artist use their innate skills and talents to create new art. They may use technology as a medium to create one. Creating movies are considered nowadays as a new form of artwork. Using the products of technology many artworks can be created. Animations and digital photography  can be an example of this.
The taste for art changes as time passes by. But art also has its own way of evolving from one form to another for it to be appreciated over time.
